  • Education is a basic Human Right and the Diaspora World Cup global school program focuses its energy in some the poorest countries around the world. We build schools in some of the poorest countries around the worldthat historically had no adequate school structure. Any member of the World Diaspora has the power to end illiteracy around the world through the power of soccer.
  • High-profile sport figures, global leaders, business leaders, political figure, journalists, activists, philanthropists, actors, and entrepreneurs united by their commitment to the Diaspora World Cup mission to eradicate illiteracy around the world through the power of soccer. They serve as role models and spread the Diaspora World Cup vision and commitment of a world mobilized through soccer.

Operating Revenues

The Diaspora Global Initiative Operating Revenue refers to the income generated by our organization through its primary operations, which typically includes funds from donations, grants, membership fees, program service fees, and fundraising events, used to support our mission and cover its ongoing expenses

Operating Expenses

Our Operating Expenses refer to the costs incurred by our organization in running its day-to-day operations, including administrative costs, rent, utilities, office supplies, marketing, and fundraising expenses, essentially everything needed to keep The Diaspora Global Initiative functioning beyond the direct delivery of its programs.
Financial Reports
The Financial Statements
The Diaspora Global Initiative prepares its financial statements and IRS 990 filing annually and makes them available to external stakeholders. It’s an essential part to maintaining compliance with reporting requirements for our tax-exempt organizations. These help us hold your nonprofit accountable for its use of resources, ensuring you can maintain our 501(c)(3) status.
IRS 990 Filings
IRS Form 990 is the annual federal information return filed by all charitable corporations that are exempt from income tax. As a 501(c)(3) organization, The Diaspora Global Initiative is required to file a Form 990. In addition to Form 990, our organization may also be required to file form 990T to report any unrelated business income. Information in these returns is presented in accordance with IRS regulations, which in some cases are of variance with generally accepted accounting principles.
The Diaspora Global Initiative Finances
Incorporated in 2017 under the laws of the State of Maryland, The Diaspora Global Initiative mobilizes people of the Diaspora and soccer enthusiasts to transform their communities and improve the world by building schools in developing countries. Our Organization is exempt from federal income tax, which is not a private foundation described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Diaspora Global Initiative operates on December 31st fiscal year.
